Christmas 2017- Summer 2020- Home Assessments with New Horizons for Children

What a privilege to serve with NHFC by visiting the most wonderful, hosting families!

Orphans are easier to ignore before you know their names.
They are easier to ignore before you see their faces.
It is easier to pretend they're not real before you hold them in your arms.
But once you do, everything changes.

-from Radical by David Platt

Psalm 10:14 ...Thou art the helper of the fatherless

Summer 2016, 2017, and 2018- Hosting with New Horizons for Children

Our Latvian teen came back in 2016, 2017, and 2018.

The young man from Ukraine, who we hosted previously, continues to bless us with visits (along with his beautiful girlfriend) here in America.

We love you, Eastern Europe.

Summer 2015- Hosting with New Horizons for Children

Our Latvian boy will be visiting "his family" (that would be us) for the 6th time this summer.  This past year, his voice was heard over a radio station, in his home country, giving the weather. We are so happy with what God has accomplished in his life- and ours.

This past Christmas, we veered from our usual hosting with NHFC, and hosted an international student from South Korea.

March 2014- Ukraine Crisis: Pray Russia pulls out and Ukraine pulls together

Oleksandr Tuchynov, the acting president of Ukraine, is reported to be a Baptist pastor from a large church in Kiev.  What an amazing thing to happen in this area!  Let's pray Russian military pulls out and Ukraine pulls together.

Psalm 33:12
Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom he hath chosen for His own inheritance.
