Christmas 2012- Hosting with New Horizons for Children

Here he is- coming for his first Christmas in America!  Our Latvian teen is also scheduled for dental work.  Please pray all goes  well.  (Jan. 2013-As you can tell by the pictures, all went  well!)                

August 21, 2012- Ukrainian teen arrives home!

Our Ukrainian hosted child, through NHFC, from the summer of 2011, arrived home with great celebration!  He is doing very well with his forever family.

August 2012- NHOO- GLove

New Horizons Orphan Outreach, Zhitomyr, Ukraine will be named

GLove Home -Handled with Care: (GLove stands for God's Love)

The orphanage will service orphans with special needs.  It was to service aging out orphans, but God worked it out for special needs children instead.  An $80,000 thousand donation came in to purchase the property and fix it up! 

August 2, 2012- New Horizons for Children- orphans and chaperones depart

We visited many places this summer including the Baltimore Aquarium.  Gints and our hosted Latvian boy kept us very busy!  We prayed and spoke about Jesus often, and did our best to live HIM.  He put his pajamas under his pillow for next summer....??.....

June 2012- Gints is also coming for the summer!

Gints is a chaperone for some of the Latvian orphans.  He is an Assistant Director at an orphanage court.  Let's welcome him to Christian America!  Please contact me if you would like to take him on an outing or have him visit.  We are so thankful for the chaperones who are willing to fly with these children, so that they can then experience the love of Christ within a family experience...and maybe find their forever family.

April 2012-Our hosted Latvian boy is returning for another hosting season..

Our hosted boy, from Latvia, is a happy go lucky visually impaired teen wanting a forever family.

There are many children and teens available for hosting. The deadline is May 4 for this summer. Orphans in Eastern Europe are typically worse off than the worst off foster child in the U.S. They are desperately in need of love from Christian families. If you are interested in changing a child's life (and yours), go on a mission trip from home this summer!
